BIOGRAPHY:

Aren Junior Baoa has been dancing since he was 9 years old and gave up

a job as an automotive engineer to become a full-time dancer with Rako

Pasefika, based in Suva, Fiji. He is of Banaban descent and dances to

keep the Banaban cultural dances alive, as well as to make his culture

known to the world. 

 

Performing at festivals in Australia as well as Fiji has challenged and

inspired Aren to develop a hunger to share his passion of dance and

culture with many young people in the community. This has prompted him

torevive Banaban dance with youths in the community.

Aren is a quiet and soft spoken young man but in dance portrays a deep

love of cuture and his
