Emily Marie Kassim has been with Rako Pasefika for over 7 years as one of the Senior Performing artists, and lead vocalists on the team. After auditioning back in 2012, Emily has been one of Rako’s Longest running female performers and has been part of many milestones achieved by the team.

Her love for music and dance pushed her to discover more about the dance industry in Fiji and came across Rako Pasefika. After completing her form 7 studies in Suva Sangam Secondary school, Emily became a full time performing artist and progressed onto becoming a lead vocalist for Rako Pasefika.

Being part of Rako Pasefika has allowed her to attend international tours and perform on stages across the globe such as the ANOC awards in Washington, Home Ground Festival and Oceania Women’s Choir in Sydney, Dateline Transam’s 10th year anniversary in Tonga, Guam where the team represented Fiji in the Festival of Pacific Arts, and San Francisco for Rotuma day and the Global Climate Action Summit.  The reaction and appreciation of the audience has always pushed Emily to continue doing what she loves and enjoys.
