Darik Finiasi from the villages of Malha’a and Noatau grew up in Vatuwaqa, Suva, surrounded by his community and immersed in the creative arts through participating in community performances led by his elders. Darik joined Rako in 2018 where he performed in the opening ceremony for the 2018 Commonwealth weightlifting Championships and began his career as a performer and quickly developed his skills in both dance and music. He continues to perform alongside Rako Pasefika, and has had a vast amount of experience at the international level performances.

While studying Civil Engineering at the University of the South Pacific, he has also become one of the leaders of his own performance group TOFISAR, who are quickly becoming one of the leading performing arts companies in the creative arts industry in Fiji. As a part of this project, Darik will be serving as a dancer and workshop assistant.
